An excellent joint pre-season fixture was held with Muswell Hill on Sat 5th Apr at Parliament Hill Field. Too many results to list here - all will be in the club mag.

North West London League, Alexandra Palace

Tara Weaver won her second consecutive NWLL race, closely followed by Chloe Wilkinson. Other good performances came from Philippa Horton, Sean Dixon and Matthew Holland - with his highest ever position

Tara Weaver was 1st girl (and 4th overall) in the accompanying fun run

Mar 1st/2nd	European Vets Champs, Birmingham NIA	Dave Wilcock won the European Vets Indoor 800m in 1-59.64, and also came 5th in the 1500m in 4-15.11.
Mar 1st	English Schools, Newark	Tara Weaver had an excellent run in her first English Schools, finishing 158th, despite the shock of being knocked to the ground twice in the early rush

Jan 18th	Southern Indoor Champs, Bedford	Denise Gayle competed in her first meeting as an under 20, and did very well to come away with a bronze medal in the high jump. She cleared 1-60 in difficult circumstances in the cramped Bedford indoor arena.

Idle banter
There was a mid-winter sighting of Peter O'Sullivan the other day. It is OK - he wasn't training, he was in the Railway Bell on a Thursday evening.

Jan 12th	Orienteering, Welwyn	Club Orienteering Champ Steve Chilton received a "shock" defeat by Simon Hime in the long Blue course. Howard Aiken and Andy Welsh restricted themselves to the shorter Green course - held at Sherrards Wood.
Jan 11th	Inter-Counties, Luton	Tara Weaver had an fine run in her first National Inter-Counties - coming 77th in the U13 race, and being 2nd Herts scorer. This followed her excellent 45th in the Southern Inter-Counties the last Saturday of last year. Sean Dixon was 1st reserve for the under 13s. Full results of all races are available
