As a more relaxed running club we welcome members of all abilities.

Members take part in a variety of events including road and fell championships, a Grand Prix series and cross country.

Established across Lancashire for over 25 years.

New members who join Red Rose Road Runners will receive an immediate email acknowledgement from the club advising the best way to join in with the club activities (subject to Red Rose Road Runners having created the welcome message).

Existing members of Red Rose Road Runners will become registered with the British Athletics Home Pages and will be contactable by County team managers. Volunteer officials and marshals will be contactable by local competition organisers (if you declare such an interest).

Club Training Sessions

Tuesday 6:30pm
Beginner's sessions with various groups from Fulwood Leisure centre at 6:30pm. Contact Kirsty Walsh on 07846 290962 (or kirstywalsh@fsmail.net) or Tony Booth on 07955032208.

Tuesday 6.30pm
Penwortham Priory Leisure Centre, usually at 6.30pm. Contact Mike Hall at red-rose.membership@sky.com beforehand.

Thursday
October - March: Speed training at Preston Docks from 6:30pm to 8pm. Contact Geoff Orritt on 01772 492254. Meet adjacent to the basin in the parking area opposite Homebase. Also, in the summer months from Bamber Bridge Tennis Centre, nr Sainsbury's. Routes and distances vary, flat or hilly, predominantly on-road. Please check with Mike before you turn-up.
