As a more relaxed running club we welcome members of all abilities.

Members take part in a variety of events including road and fell championships, a Grand Prix series and cross country.

Established across Lancashire for over 25 years.

New members who join Red Rose Road Runners will receive an immediate email acknowledgement from the club advising the best way to join in with the club activities (subject to Red Rose Road Runners having created the welcome message). All new members will be given the default status of "guest member", which will be upgraded to "full club member" after they have become known to the club.

Existing members of Red Rose Road Runners will be upgraded by the Club Administrator to "full club member" status after joining. This means existing members can enter competition events (including league track & field, cross country and open events) into the club and county diary. Athletes will be contactable by County team managers. Volunteer officials and marshals will be contactable by local competition organisers (if they declare such an interest).

Club Training Sessions

Tuesday eve
Variety of training runs from Fulwood Leisure Centre at 6.30pm and Penwortham Priory Leisure Centre at 7.00pm. Contact George on 01772 865517 for those wishing to run from Fulwood or Mike on 07969 730048 for those wishing to run in South Ribble.

Thursday 7.00pm
Small group most Thursdays from Bamber Bridge Tennis Centre, Nr Sainsbury's. Routes and distances vary, flat or hilly, predominantly on-road. Please check with Mike before you turn-up.

Thursday
Beginner's sessions with various groups from Fulwood Leisure centre at 6:30pm. Contact Kirsty Walsh on 07846 290962 (or kirstywalsh@fsmail.net) or Tony Booth on 07955032208. Also Track sessions at Preston Arena from 6:30pm to 8pm. Contact Geoff Orritt on 01772 492254.
