Since it was founded in 1986 Stowmarket Striders has grown into one of the top clubs in the county.

It has done this by welcoming all runners of all abilities to its club training nights and supporting them as they progress and develop.

For those who are a little more competitive, we encourage our runners to represent the club in local races, relay events and Suffolk championships.

If you have any questions about joining or any other aspect of the Stowmarket Striders, then please feel free to contact us.

We welcome all new members & visitors who wish to join our friendly club. So visit and join us for a run before deciding to join.

New members who join Stowmarket Striders will receive an immediate email acknowledgement from the club advising the best way to join in with the club activities (subject to Stowmarket Striders having created the welcome message).

Existing members of Stowmarket Striders will become registered with the British Athletics Home Pages and will be contactable by County team managers. Volunteer officials and marshals will be contactable by local competition organisers (if you declare such an interest).

Club Training Sessions

Tuesday at 7.30pm
Training nights from Mid-Suffolk Leisure Centre in Stowmarket. To suit all runners of all abilities.

Thursday at 7.30pm
Evening runs between 5 miles and 10km to start from the Mid-Suffolk Leisure Centre in Stowmarket.

    The fixtures below are intended as an indication of events which are regularly promoted by Stowmarket Striders. However all good things come to an end, so please make contact with the club to establish that this event is taking place this year, and confirm the exact date.
