Bedford & County AC caters for athletes of both sexes and all ages. The club competes in Track and Field, Cross Country Leagues and road races and relays.

The Senior men's team compete in the British Athletics League and are recent winners of the Southern Cross Country Championships and National Cross Country Relays in 2008.

The Senior women compete in the UK Womens Athletics League. The club run senior teams in all major regional and national competitions. Our youngsters compete in the National Young Athletes League and in all national and regional cross country and road relay competitions.

All sections of the club compete in the Chiltern cross country.

We have a thriving young athletes section that kicks off with our Bedford Beagles club for the under 11's

New members who join Bedford and County AC will receive an immediate email acknowledgement from the club advising the best way to join in with the club activities (subject to Bedford and County AC having created the welcome message). All new members will be given the default status of "guest member", which will be upgraded to "full club member" after they have become known to the club.

Existing members of Bedford and County AC will be upgraded by the Club Administrator to "full club member" status after joining. This means existing members can enter competition events (including league track & field, cross country and open events) into the club and county diary. Athletes will be contactable by County team managers. Volunteer officials and marshals will be contactable by local competition organisers (if they declare such an interest).
