Predominantly a young athletes club, but also boasts a well spirited mens team - recently combined with the junior girls in Midland League competitions. Young athletes take part in the regional 'Heart of England' and Young Athletes Leagues, plus County & Regional Championships. Depending on strengths Daventry AC occasionally have representatives at National Championships (AAA's U17s & English Schools). Track is 400m redgra construction, with jumps and throws area. New discus cage installed in 2006. Part of the Daventry & District Sports Club. Past members include Stewart Faulkner( LJ - former UK Junior Record Holder) , Claire Raven(800), Courtney Rumbolt (Team GB Bobsleigh).
