Holmfirth Harriers is a friendly club with over 600 active members. It caters for athletes of all ages, gender and ability. It has enjoyed success at both county and national levels. Regardless of your choice of running, be it road, fell, X-country, track or triathlon there is a group of athletes to train with. Holmfirth Harriers club headquarters are at the Neilley Pavillion ( a newly purpose built clubhouse with lottery grant assistance), New Mill Road, Honley.

New members who join Holmfirth Harriers AC will receive an immediate email acknowledgement from the club advising the best way to join in with the club activities (subject to Holmfirth Harriers AC having created the welcome message). All new members will be given the default status of "guest member", which will be upgraded to "full club member" after they have become known to the club.

Existing members of Holmfirth Harriers AC will be upgraded by the Club Administrator to "full club member" status after joining. This means existing members can enter competition events (including league track & field, cross country and open events) into the club and county diary. Athletes will be contactable by County team managers. Volunteer officials and marshals will be contactable by local competition organisers (if they declare such an interest).

Club Training Sessions

Tuesdays 7.00pm
A choice of summer off-road routes (combined footpaths, bridleways and road) and winter road runs. Various distances

Thursday 7.00pm
As per Tuesdays but with choice of track speed session at Leeds Road track.

Sundays 9.00
Long steady run (usually at least 11 miles). Various meeting points. Contact club official for details.
