Buxton & District AC

The Junior club was founded in 1988 by Norman Taylor. Origionally called the T-Squad it was re-named in 1999.

We have five coaches who attened a weekly coaching session. We aim to provide enjoyment through athletics. We take the children to annual and seasonal trips.

The club has produced many county champions and two Internationals. We are a friendly club, only small membership group of about 60 junior athletes and about 50 senior and veteran athletes. 2001 Derbyshire Community Awards - Coaches WON recognition.

Senior training sessions are: Mondays - meet in Pavilion Gardens at 18:30, Thursday - meet in the Railway at 19:00 and Sunday - meet at Marlborough Road at 09:15.

Existing members of Buxton & District AC will become registered with the British Athletics Home Pages and will be contactable by County team managers. Volunteer officials and marshals will be contactable by local competition organisers (if you declare such an interest).

Thursday 6-7pm
Club meet at Buxton Community School. 4 groups, Under 11's Sprinters and Endurance. Whole club training session.

Saturday 10 - 11am
Club meet at Buxton Community School. 1 group, Under 11's, Under 13's and Under 15's.
