The Junior club was founded in 1988 by Norman Taylor. Origionally called the T-Squad it was re-named in 1999. We have five coaches who attened a weekly coaching session. We aim to provide enjoyment through athletics. We take the children to annual and seasonal trips. No pressure to compete - just come anlong and enjoy!!. Friendly club, only small membership group of about 30 kids. Have produced many county champions and two Internationals. 2001 Derbyshire Community Awards - Coaches WON recognition.

Club Training Sessions Thursday 6 - 7pm Club meet at Buxton Community School. 3 groups, Under 11's Sprinters and Endurance. Whole club training session Monday 5.15-6.00 Opera House Buxton. Sprint Session, hills or speed work Small group of dedicated athletes Sunday 10 - 11am Temple Fields, Buxton. 4 mile run. Must be over 13 and capable of running the distance
