Road Running and Cross Country

Club founded in 1978 as one of the new type Jogging Clubs. We currently have about 150 members and aim to cater for all standards. Members can be competitive or just run to get fit.

Our current strengths are in the ladies and veterans sections with some members competing in County and National Competions. There is an Club Championship that runs throughout the year and a monthly 10 km handicap (The Staggered Jog) now in its 30th year.

The Club encourages participation in relays and social events including an Annual Dinner and Presentation Evening, a running Scrabble evening, arranged visits, barbequees and so on.

New members who join Burnham Joggers AC will receive an immediate email acknowledgement from the club advising the best way to join in with the club activities (subject to Burnham Joggers AC having created the welcome message). All new members will be given the default status of "guest member", which will be upgraded to "full club member" after they have become known to the club.

Existing members of Burnham Joggers AC will be upgraded by the Club Administrator to "full club member" status after joining. This means existing members can enter competition events (including league track & field, cross country and open events) into the club and county diary. Athletes will be contactable by County team managers. Volunteer officials and marshals will be contactable by local competition organisers (if they declare such an interest).
