Wootton Road Runners are a road running club of over 200 members of a mixed ages and abilities, from beginners to experienced athletes.

Wootton Road Runners won the England Athletic East Midlands 'off track' club of the year 2007, East Midlands Grand Prix Series Team Winners and National Cross Country Winners for 2006, 2007 and 2008 to name a few.

The club meets on a Thursday night for training sessions supervised by UK Athletics trained club coaches. Members will also get together at other times to train for specific events or merely to enjoy having friendly company to run with.

A busy social calendar is always on the agenda with Curry runs, Rugby matches, trips to Jersey to name a few.

We are the running club that love to run to socialise!

Club Training Sessions

Thursdays at 7.30pm
Various training sessions including speed, stamina, hills and endurance sessions, designed to improve your fitness. Split into 6 groups to cater for all standards. Meet a Wootton Community Centre, Curtlee Road, Wootton Fields for 7.15pm, for 7.30pm start.

Sundays at 9.00am
Long run of around 90 minutes at various scenic locations in the Northampton area. Locations detailed on the club website each week.
