We are a friendly, growing running club based at Adel Memorial Association on Church Lane, just off Otley Road in North Leeds. We cater for runners of all standards, and mor than half of our members are women... We participates in road, cross country, fell, trail, and off road relay events. We organise races including the Abbey Dash and the Eccup 10 mile. We have recently formed a junior section. Why not come and join us? We can help you to get more out of your running, and if you are new to Leeds, it's a great way to see more of the local area.

New members who join Abbey Runners will receive an immediate email acknowledgement from the club advising the best way to join in with the club activities (subject to Abbey Runners having created the welcome message).

Existing members of Abbey Runners will become registered with the British Athletics Home Pages and will be contactable by County team managers. Volunteer officials and marshals will be contactable by local competition organisers (if you declare such an interest).

Club Training Sessions

Tues 7.50pm
Group runs - about 5 to 10 miles.

Thurs 7.20pm
Track sessions under floodlights in Winter. Also hill and off road speed sessions.

The fixtures below are intended as an indication of events which are regularly promoted by Abbey Runners. However all good things come to an end, so please make contact with the club to establish that this event is taking place this year, and confirm the exact date.
