We are an athletics club based in Wantage, Oxfordshire (England). We have about two hundred members of all ages and abilities, and we take part in Track & Field, Road Running and Cross Country events. The Latest News can be seen at a site run by our Road Running Secretary and is well worth a visit for up to date news, reports, photos and much much more. Our members compete in the Oxford Cross Country League, and the County, Area and National Championships. We run in local Road Races and organise the Oxfordshire Half Marathon Championships every year, and the race is included in the Oxon Grand Prix Road Race League. The next White Horse Half Marathon will be held on Sunday 5th April 2009, with entry forms available here from about September 2008. We also stage our own social events and Handicap races throughout the year. We train at Wantage Leisure Centre (Thursday nights at 6.45 pm, for 7 pm start) and Tilsley Park Athletics Track in Abingdon (Tuesday nights at 7.00 pm) New members are very welcome, irrespective of ability or experience. Our Newsletter is produced periodically and is sent free to all members.
