The Club was founded in October 1973 by a group of Parents who had Children attending Collingwood School in Springfield Road; Wallington; Surrey. We are a small friendly Club with Training nights on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with long social runs on a Sunday (when not racing) Although a small club Collingwood AC were Surrey Road League winners 1998 after being 3rd in 1993; 1996 & 1997. They were also South Of England 3rd placed team for 1/2 Marathon 1999; Surrey 1/2 Marathon Champions in 1993 & 1999, runners up in 2000 & 2001 and 3rd in 1998; Surrey County 3rd placed team for 10k 2000; Surrey 5k Champions 1998, 2nd 1997 and 3rd 1996 & 2000; Caterham 1/2 Marathon Team winners 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000 & 2001 and Surrey Cross Country League Division 4 Winners 1997-8

Club Training Sessions

Tuesday 6:30
Training out of Croygas Sports & Social Club; Mollison Drive; Wallington. Sessions vary but Tuesdays are predominantly Speed work sessions using Road or parkland

Thursday 6:30
Training from HQ usually consisting of long runs of 6-10 miles on Road

Sunday
When not racing a Long run on Sunday Mornings from Mellows Park/ Hannibal Way; Wallington (15-20+ mile)
