Metros is a road-running club that supports the running aspirations of people of all ages and abilities. From non-participating but interested supporters to highly competitive, county standard athletes, children, beginners of all ages, occasional joggers and dedicated marathoners. All are welcome and have found a home with Metros.

New members who join Metros Running Club will receive an immediate email acknowledgement from the club advising the best way to join in with the club activities (subject to Metros Running Club having created the welcome message).

Existing members of Metros Running Club will become registered with the British Athletics Home Pages and will be contactable by County team managers. Volunteer officials and marshals will be contactable by local competition organisers (if you declare such an interest).

Club Training Sessions

Monday 8:00pm
Meet adjacent to the width restriction, Headstone Lane, North Harrow. Various distances and paces. Suitable for beginners and slow runners. Organiser: Teresa Young

Tuesday 8:00pm
Lowlands Tennis Club, Lowlands Road, Eastcote. Road runs at 6-10 minute pace. Five different routes on a rotational basis, with a choice of distances from 5-10 miles (directions supplied). NOT suitable for beginners. Showers available; licensed bar (participation not compulsory). Organiser: Garry Young

Wednesday 7:15pm
Meet outside the John Lyon School near White Horse PH, Middle Road. Harrow-on-the-Hill, hill training session. Approximately up to 9 min/mile pace maintained for 1 hour. Not suitable for beginners. Organiser: Dave Brown
