Rutland Running Club is a small friendly club founded in May 2000 with a current membership of around 60 drawn mainly from the county of Rutland. The mix between male & female members is around 50:50.
We meet every Tuesday for Training sessions, and have organised runs on Wednesday & Thursday evenings and Saturday & Sunday mornings.

We cater for all abilities from complete beginner to experienced athlete and can offer companionship and encouragement to all.
The club is also affilated to Tri-UK as several members regularly compete in Triathlons and Duathlons.
Minimum age : over 18's only please.

Existing members of Rutland Running Club will become registered with the British Athletics Home Pages and will be contactable by County team managers. Volunteer officials and marshals will be contactable by local competition organisers (if you declare such an interest).

Club Training Sessions

Tuesdays at 19:30
A mix of hill reps, speed work, fartlek, ciruit training and a monthly timed loop. See web site for location in spring/summer & autumn/winter and current programme.

Wednesdays at 19:30
Easy pace road runs - in winter around Oakham, in spring/summer, around various local villages on minor roads and tracks.

Thursdays at 19:30
Medium pace road runs around Oakham (in winter) and in various other locations in summer, including our annual 'Rutland Round' series of approx 10K runs following the county boundary of Rutland over a 10 week period.
