We are a friendly club whose membership age runs from 7 upwards with no upper limit. Hercules Wimbledon AC was formed in 1967 when two clubs joined together to make one Hercules Ladies and Wimbledon AC. The club welcomes prospective athletes of all abilities offering them every opportunity to compete. We have teams for young athletes, boys and girls, senior men's and women's teams and a masters' (veterans) team on both track and field and cross country. During the summer Hercules Wimbledon Ac competes in local, regional and national track and field leagues at the weekends and mid week throughout the summer. In the winter, indoor competition is available and for the youngsteres between the age of 10 and 16 years there is the popular Surrey Sports Hall League. Plus Hercules Wimbledon provides cross country and road running competition. The club has a tradition of organising overseas athletics trips and, in turn, acts as hosts to visiting foreign club teams.

Existing members of Hercules Wimbledon AC will become registered with the British Athletics Home Pages and will be contactable by County team managers. Volunteer officials and marshals will be contactable by local competition organisers (if you declare such an interest).

Club Training Sessions

Tues-Thurs 6.30pm
Track training at Wimbledon Park Athletics Arena Southfields and Wimbledon Park station are on the District Line. Bus routes 39 and 493 pass the Wimbledon Pk Rd entrance also easy access for parking at the Wimbledon Pk Rd and Revelstoke Road entrances. Newcomers more than welcome Ask for Maurice Sharp

Sundays 10am
Also track training at Wimbledon Pk Arena with a special session for the 7upsnovers starting at 10am.

Wednesday 7pm
Cross Country and Road Running sessions from Lauriston Cottage, Wimbledon starting at 7pm. Your coach will give you more details of the session and how to get there.
