Club Training Sessions

Mon, Thurs 7.00pm
The Club hosts Recreational Running Sessions from Whitehall Athletics Arena (Off Johnsons Lane, Whitehall, Bristol BS5 9AZ). These sessions commence at 7 p.m. every Monday night and Thursday night. Monday sessions are led by at least 3 club coaches (Keith Brackstone, Chris Elson and Phil Parry) who will each take a group of varying ability. These runs use the track at Whitehall, the Bristol-Bath Cycle Path and also include areas off road when the nights allow, such as St George's Park. In addition, the real beginner can use Whitehall track and the adjoining playing fields to build up from a base of absolutely no running at all. These sessions are augmented by a Thursday group run that is facilitated by Emma Bowers. Thursday runs also commence at 7 p.m. Chris, Keith and Phil will aim to get you jogging, competing in local low key events such as the Bridge Inn 5k or Saturday park runs in Ashton Court right up to the Bristol 10k and Half-Marathon or even the London Marathon.
