Use this space to describe your club. We are a voluntary organisation that manage the Galtres Fun Runs. 3 runs for any age 4 - 84. we hold the annual event in Easingwold market Place to raise funds for local scouts and Guide groups. We marshal the 3 routes; 2 off road and 1 on road. we pay for road closures and First Aid from Red Cross. we deal with entries from march to the Run Day and in the morning of the Runs. We hold the Runs on 29th June 2013 and every year on last saturday of June. We do not time runners but enable them to run with warm up, water stops, medals and trophies,safe routes and sheering crowds. 600 runners take part with about 2000 watching. Agreat opprtunity for people and youngsters new to running to have a go and gain experience. |
