We are a small, friendly, mixed ability, adult club which was set up in 1982.

Our members pay a minimal fee to cover our costs (EA affiliation, insurance, stop watches) plus membership of the Sports and Social Club (see ecssc.co.uk) which includes use of showers and car parking and gives access to the ECSSC members' bar.

We offer everything you need of a grass roots club but there's no pressure to race competitively if that's not your thing.

We meet for organised training sessions on Wednesdays, from 12:30 (lunchtime) and repeat them again at 6pm (attend either or both) but all weekday lunchtimes there will be someone around to give you encouragement and company on a run, whatever your standard, or none!

New members who join Christchurch Runners will receive an immediate email acknowledgement from the club advising the best way to join in with the club activities (subject to Christchurch Runners having created the welcome message).

Existing members of Christchurch Runners will become registered with the British Athletics Home Pages and will be contactable by County team managers. Volunteer officials and marshals will be contactable by local competition organisers (if you declare such an interest).
