The County Athletics Association serves to enable local clubs to network, by providing championships, and higher level inter-county competition for the elite athletes. Individuals cannot affiliate directly to the County Association. They should join one of the local athletics clubs listed below.

Gloucestershire. although a smallish county, is big on athletics. At least 12 clubs are currently affiliated to Glos and are located across the whole of the County. The County also keenly promotes athletics for youngsters via schemes like Startrack and the County can boast up of promoting up to over 65 Road Race and MT events every year.
