The County Athletics Association serves to enable local clubs to network, by providing championships, and higher level inter-county competition for the elite athletes. Individuals cannot affiliate directly to the County Association. They should join one of the local athletics clubs listed below.

The county organizes a road race The Rotary Five at Felixstowe on May Day and a series of cross country relays October 14th Nr Bury St Edmunds. It also coordinates a series of events within the county to form a Grand Prix series during autumn through to spring. There are many road running events throughout the County.
