Featured Events

The Hertfordshire 2004 men's season video gives a unique insight into County Athletics in the UK in the 2004 season. The first section of the film covers the County Championships, and including several of the very young athletes, who will hopefully become the familiar Hertfordshire Athletes of the future. The Hertfordshire's Senior Men's Javelin Championship is a competition which can stand alongside higher level level championships. We then move onto the Inter County Championships, which gives an insight into how the team performed in 2004. As always with athletics team competitions, its as much a case of who did not turn up, as it is the best efforts of those who competed. There was shortage of effort from the Hertfordshire Athletes which is best demonstrated by Lee Reynolds win in the 800 metres A String in the Hibbard Trophy, and Gareth Dodd's tenacious performances throughout. Fittingly the video ends with the performances of several of the Counties medalists at the AAA's U23 and U20 Men's Championships.
