We are primarily a road running club, but our itinerary also includes track and off-road activities. We have a membership of over a hundred Spartans of all abilities.

New members who join Fairlands Valley Spartans will receive an immediate email acknowledgement from the club advising the best way to join in with the club activities (subject to Fairlands Valley Spartans having created the welcome message).

Existing members of Fairlands Valley Spartans will become registered with the British Athletics Home Pages and will be contactable by County team managers. Volunteer officials and marshals will be contactable by local competition organisers (if you declare such an interest).

Club Training Sessions

Tuesdays at 19:00
Timed interval session ranging from 5 to 8 miles. Runners are incouraged to run in 1 of the 4 groups.

Thursdays at 19:00
Varied sessions - speed endurance, Hills, time trials etc.

Sundays at 09:30
Long run for all standards, starting from John Henry Newman School, Hitchin Road, Stevenage
